Baltimore County Police said a 39-year-old woman who was hit by a car last December has recently died and an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. Research suggest new therapy for spinal cord injury victims

Maryland residents might be interested to learn about a new Japanese research study involving an oral drug that has been shown to lessen the outbreak of human multiple sclerosis and slow some of its physical problems now looks promising for treating injuries to the spinal cord as well. U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs pays for medical malpractice

U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs paid out $940,000 in cases involving the wrongful deaths of eight patients at the Dayton, Ohio, VA Medical Center. This same clinic was also involved in allegations last year of a dentist at the clinic using improper hygiene for years, according to public records. These records show that since 2007 this southwestern Ohio medical center has been hit with 72 medical malpractice claims. Forest Hill man dies in three-car collision in Creswell, Maryland

Maryland State Police are investigating a three-car collision in Creswell that happened last week that left one man dead. Police did not report on the condition of the driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash. The early morning multi-vehicle accident occurred on Route 543, which is fast becoming the deadliest highways in the county, if not the state, according to Maryland State Police.
