When someone is a passenger in a vehicle, that passenger is putting his or her safety in the hands of another, assuming that driver will drive safely and without incident. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded to a fatal accident last Wednesday around 10:30 p.m. that left one dead and sent four others to the hospital, including one of the injured being sent to a hospital that specializes in treating trauma patients with life-threatening injuries. Maryland State Police are investigating a three-car collision in Creswell that happened last week that left one man dead. Police did not report on the condition of the driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash.
